The Birth Story
For this child I have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of my heart.

Over the last 10 1/2 months Go has filled my heart with patience and my womb with the blessing of new life. I enjoyed every day that I was pregnant and never took it for granted. Finding Yui Clinic and Dr. Fumi forever changed my life! At every check-up and until the day we left to go home I felt nothing but genuine love and compassion from all the staff at Yui.
At 42 weeks and 2 days, while enjoying the beautiful sunshine and remarkable ocean in Northern Okinawa, my baby started to make his way into our world. My contractions came on very quickly but not as quickly as Daddy drove us to Yui 😊
After 26 very exhausting hours of intense labor, I can only remember the strength God gave me and the promise from Jesus Christ that He will never leave me or forsake me. Although my birth was not what I had imagined, I could not be prouder of myself and the expertise the staff at Yui exemplified during the very difficult times of my baby boy’s entrance.
Thank you to everyone, from the midwives to the chefs to the front desk and the cleaning staff! I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to welcome new life into my world at Yui Clinic!
